Congratulations to our 2025 JGA Memorial Scholarship award recipients!

In memory of John G. Adinamis, Candi Agapi Gialamas and Yanni Nassis each received scholarships of $1,000 from Memory Eternal President, Vanessa Adinamis. The JGA Memorial Scholarship award provides financial assistance annually to 2 college bound students who demonstrate high character, academic success, and commitment to service.

Candi Agapi Gialamas

Candi is a 2025 graduate of Edgewood High School in Madison, WI. She completed her studies with high honors and is pursuing a degree in Engineering at Notre Dame University. She plans to utilize her engineering degree to develop tools to assist caregivers. Throughout high school she was involved with many activities from academic tutoring, athletics, and Hellenic religious activities/events. Yanni Nassis

Yanni is a 2025 graduate of Prospect High School in Mt Prospect, IL. He completed his studies with high honors. He is pursuing an engineering degree at Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) where he plans to specialize in medical technologies - especially for older adults and people with disabilities. Anna Gordon

Anna is a 2024 graduate of Glenbrook South High School in Glenview, IL. She completed her studies with high honors and is pursuing degree as a Certified Speech Language Pathologist at Purdue University. Her concentration with be with special needs students. Throughout high school she mentored students with special needs through the Community of Exceptional Children (CEC) as a VP. Effie Hatzopoulos

Effie is a 2024 graduate of Prospect High School in Mt Prospect, IL. She completed her studies with high honors. She is pursuing a medical degree in Holistic medicine at Boston College in Massachusetts and will be working toward her DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) degree. Her goal is to treat the whole patient to prevent disease. Throughout high school she was involved in volunteering and researching alternative treatments in biomedicine.
