Congratulations to our scholarship recipients!
In memory of John G. Adinamis, Effie Hatzopoulos and Anna Gordon each received scholarships of $1,000 from Memory Eternal President, Vanessa Adinamis. The JGA Memorial Scholarship award provides financial assistance annually to 2 college bound students who demonstrate high character, academic success, and commitment to service.
Anna Gordon
Anna is a 2024 graduate of Glenbrook South High School in Glenview, IL. She completed her studies with high honors and is pursuing degree as a Certified Speech Language Pathologist at Purdue University. Her concentration with be with special needs students. Throughout high school she mentored students with special needs through the Community of Exceptional Children (CEC) as a VP. Effie Hatzopoulos
Effie is a 2024 graduate of Prospect High School in Mt Prospect, IL. She completed her studies with high honors. She is pursuing a medical degree in Holistic medicine at Boston College in Massachusetts and will be working toward her DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) degree. Her goal is to treat the whole patient to prevent disease. Throughout high school she was involved in volunteering and researching alternative treatments in biomedicine.
