Hellenic American Police Association

The Hellenic American Police Association (HAPA) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1993 by Commander Elias Voulgaris to help raise monies to help officers and their families throughout Chicago.  They are always looking for volunteers for their events and fundraisers.  If you would like to offer your tax deductible contribution to this charity and to read more about please click the link below.

Fundraiser for the Family of Officer John Bartholomew​

Join the Hellenic American Police Association (HAPA) and St. George Greek Orthodox Church of Chicago in honoring the memory of Chicago Police Officer John Bartholomew (End of Watch: April 25, 2026).


All proceeds directly support the Bartholomew family and HAPA outreach programs.


  • Date: Sunday, September 27, 2026
  • Time: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM 
  • Location: Chateau Ritz Banquets (9100 Milwaukee Ave., Niles, IL)
  • Tickets: $100 per person (Includes food, open bar, entertainment, and raffle walk) — Tickets available at the door ($100)
